Practice

She renders comprehensive advising services regarding urban planning law. She has a large experience in town planning matters (drafting of reports and regulations of the different urban planning instruments, processing of plans, etc.) as well as in management aspects (advice to Compensation Joints, land division files; urban planning agreements, etc.) and also in all those other issues related to disciplinary files (advice in the implementation of procedures and in the application of all kinds of permits or licenses, assistance in sanctioning files, etc.). Likewise, she is specialized in the analysis of the feasibility of whatever deal where are involved town planning matters, by issuing Due Diligence reports, legal opinions, etc.

She worked as in-house lawyer in several Departments of the Madrid Autonomous Community Planning Administration (Dirección General de Urbanismo and Dirección General de Planificación Urbanística) since 1991 to 1995.

Director of the Town Planning area in the Spanish Firm Brosa, Abogados y Economistas from 1998 to 2003.

Responsible of the Town Planning Area in DLA PIPER since 2003 to 2006.

Head of Town Planning practice as Director at PwC Tax & Legal Services from 2006 to 2016.

In November 2016, she joined MAO LEGAL to consolidate Town Planning Department.

Education

Law Degree from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid (1985-1990).

Doctorate Degree in Administrative and Planning Law from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid (1999).

Master in Planning Law from Universidad Carlos III of Madrid (1992-1993).

Marta Cámara

Having practiced law since 2001, she joined MAIO Martínez Escribano in 2012, previously having worked at J&A Garrigues, S.L.P. (2001-2012), a firm in which she gained professional experience in the labor department until November 2012.

Marta Cámara specializes in Labor Law and Social Security and is an expert in labor consulting for companies and managers as well as a litigator in labor courts.
