MAIO legal has added seven new professionals from a renowned law firm in Vigo, Spain to its team. It is expected that they will contribute their highly-acclaimed expertise in Corporate Law, Litigation and Employment Law. Among them, Mr. José A. Menéndez Fernandez-Kelly, a lawyer with experience both as Chief attorney at the legal department of the Treasury of the Social Security Agency and as former director at the Employment Department of Garrigues in Galicia and Mr. Ramón Gonzalez-Babé, a corporate lawyer. Likewise, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs. Esther Pillado González as an advisor to MAIO. Mrs. Pillado González currently heads the Public Law Department at the University of Vigo. This first phase is aimed at the expansion of MAIO in key geographical areas, such as north west Spain, with a view to further enhancing its formidable position in Maritime Law . As a consequence of this expansion, MAIO’s offices in Madrid and Vigo will now boast a combined team of more than 25 professionals.
