Ignacio has over 20 years of professional experience. He holds a degree in Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid and a Master’s in Tax Law from the San Pablo CEU University, where he graduated top of his class.<\/p>\n

Before founding MAIO Legal, Ignacio worked in the legal-tax advisory of Telef\u00f3nica de Espa\u00f1a S.A., and was a partner at Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo, where he also headed the Tax Law department. Later, he was the managing partner of the Tax Law department at Castro, Sueiro & Varela and director at KPMG Abogados.<\/p>\n

He is currently the Vice President of the AEDAF (Spanish Association of Tax Advisors), which brings together nearly 4,000 professionals in tax advisory. Previously, he led the Madrid-Central Area division of the said association, is an honorary professor in tax matters at the Complutense University of Madrid, a speaker, and co-author of several books on tax topics. He also regularly publishes articles on current tax issues in economic and specialized press.<\/p>\n

He has also been a member of the Board of Directors for various companies, including the publicly traded company PRIM S.A., where he was the Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Appointments and Remuneration Committee.<\/p>\n
