Roberto is the Partner in charge of the Commercial and Corporate, Civil Litigation and Regulatory Compliance areas at the Zaragoza office.
Specialized in Commercial and Corporate Law, he has extensive experience in providing legal advice to companies.
As an expert in corporate matters, he serves as Secretary of various Boards of Directors and as Legal Counsel to the governing body of several commercial companies, and provides advice on the management and resolution of corporate disputes, defending both majority and minority shareholders.
Likewise, he leads and takes part in the court proceedings involving the companies he advises on commercial and civil matters, as well as their defense before the Directorate General for Legal Certainty and Public Faith.
In addition, Roberto regularly participates in mergers and business reorganizations (M&A) of entities from various sectors, and also specializes in Regulatory Compliance (Corporate Compliance), having participated in numerous implementations of criminal prevention systems in companies and in providing ongoing advice to clients in this area, and is a member of the Spanish Compliance Association (ASCOM).
Before joining MAIO Legal as a Partner in 2021, Roberto had practiced as a lawyer since 2009 in the Legal Area of the firm Lacasa Abogados, Palacios & Partners.
