Lorena Simón | Senior

Lorena began her professional career in 2014 in the Tax Area of Lacasa Abogados, Palacios & Partners, which was integrated into MAIO Legal in 2021, and she specializes in Tax Law.

Her main area of advice concerns private companies and public entities, both with respect to recurring tax obligations and non-routine transactions of particular complexity. She also advises individuals and families on the tax optimization of their wealth (Family Business tax regime, inheritance and gift tax, international taxation, etc.).

Lorena also regularly participates in the defense of clients in the course of tax proceedings (tax reviews, tax audits, penalty proceedings, etc.), as well as in challenging the tax acts issued as a result thereof at all stages (administrative, economic-administrative and judicial).

In terms of teaching, since 2019 Lorena has collaborated in teaching various Master’s Degrees in Tax Advisory.
